This song really reminds us that we are collectively created to be a body. When we forget that, we can break off from those around us. We become vulnerable as target to the enemy. There is the power from God when we are connected together. May God grant all of us greater peace, greater joy and greater love that come from the hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in this new year.

YA Ministry - CNY Get Together

Dear Young Adults,

We would like to organise a get together for all Covenant young adults on
the 3rd day of CNY (Tue 16 Feb)2pm. Venue is at our house; address is
block 148, 02-113, Mei Ling Street (very near Queenstown MRT station).

There will be a high tea, Wii competition, and lots of good fellowship.

What A Friend We Have In Jesus

Dear Fren,

Shaun here! Sorry I couldn't come to church yesterday, becos I had reservist. But I woke up today feeling quite stressed and a song sprang in my mind "what a friend we have in Jesus". I immediately searched for its lyrics online and it is so applicable. Indeed we need not worry about today or tml cos we are christians and we can commit all things to God in prayer!
